Not really. It was at first, i was gonna rant about Naruto, but then i kept thinking about the bashing of the dubs. It happens to all of us.

And just a reminder, there are SOME good dubs out there. Hellsing is one of the greater dubbed ones. I still don't understand what you people got against dubs. I mean i like captions and all, but i prefer to hear and watch it. I mean, i'm not complete otaku or the wanna-be japanese guys who eats poki and ramen non-stop and draws in ALL of his free time, but jesus christ. I mean, even in SOME dubs, there's things that you can't get in the fan-subs. Take Nadesico:

Episode one, there was Gai Daigogi's "Gai Super Upper". THe fansubs had it as "Super Burning" or "Napalm" or something similiar becuase the characters were similar, but the official thing was supposed to be "Gai Super Upper". Everyone thought it was Super BUrning or whatever as a nod to Gundam, but it wasen't.

As for those of you who consider yourselfs "Purists" and prefer to watch it in "Japanese only", read the manga's instead since a lot of them are based offa mangas. Mortal hypocrits.
why would anyone say something bad about naruto? it rawks :P I prefer to watch anime in it's native laguage. not becuase i'm an otaku or "purist" but becuase dubs are anoying. i can't stand most of the voice actor's voices. I also prefer to watch the anime rather then read the manga, it's kinda funny when i say i don't like to read.. it's, i guess, easier to double click a file or insert a dvd then it is to turn a page (i'm lazy).

Naruto is like the DBZ, not storywise, but the way it progresses:

"OH NO! WE CANNOT WIN! I WILL DO SUPER MOVE! IT WILL SAVE US! OH NO! IT CANNOT DO IT TOO! DAMN! USE SECRET MOVE!"

Main Character comes, saves day, next villian, they're not powerful enough to defeat it, they train, shit happens, they beat the villian, tra-la-la-fucking-la.

well wtf else is gona happen? bad guy comes, kills everyone... shows over, no one makes money :| i'm only up to chapter 130 in the manga, but so far i don't really see how it's like dbz... naruto first of all has this mentality that he wants to become Hokage, so in order to do that he is training constantly. naruto also is not very skilled and very weak compaired a lot of other people in the show. In DBZ it's almost like they are making this shit up as they were making more of it. Naruto is getting stronger becuase of the ninetails deamon fox that they mention IN THE FIRST EPISODE!!! what else do you expect to happen? nothing? When watching naruto i sometimes felt like it was like DBZ for 1 reason... some of those episodes are rediculously long and drawn out for no reason... but that's in all anime so why should i be thinking only DBZ is like that?
We all have our own oppinions, but seriously, Naruto is 10000 times better then DBZ. now if naruto somehow has this second deamon fox inside him and become like super naruto... i'll change my oppion, but i don't see that happening...
ok i'm done :|

but anyway, trying to get back on topic. I don't think you can really state a best or worst anime. everyone has their own oppions on what is good and what is bad. if you dislike one type of genre or like an anime for a certain reason that other overlook then there is gona be conflicts. I think maybe a better topic (and i might create a new thread to start anew) would be to explain why you think it's the worst. and saying it's like DBZ (just an example and has nothing to do with the previous paragraph) is a poor reason. something like (i'll use the anime ONE). "This OVA, although only 4 episodes, is long and drawn out, with little dialog and well nothing to keep the viewers interested. The 4 25min episodes seem like your watching them for hours. and when your done watching it, your left out of energy and feel like you wasted your time."

bah i have too much time to type this crap out. i should've been editing.

Same here, its the cutest thing since pumpkin pie. Although I think Tom the Fish was refering to its plot, very childish and cute. From what I'v also seen, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. But we should prbably give it some time before we make up that decision. :?
