Well lets see........ my dad buys me all of my anime, but he didn't watch it for like three years.
Then one day he watched adult swim and saw Trigun
and well he now wants to buy the series for "me".....(but still calls me an animoron)
He also seemed to like CB the movie ^.^

My parents don't mind if I watch anime, I guess they think I'm old enough.
Most parents grew up when animation meant cartoons for kids, or they think anime is only violence and sex. I thought it was kids stuff till I saw my first anime. My son brought home Ninja Scroll, Ahhh, not kids stuff. Then I saw Evangelion and I was hooked. Now when my kids come home they bring anime for us to watch.
Families that watch anime together stay together.

Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

??? (rereads posts) Sorry EvaX, I guess that was to far back for me to remember, (memory is the first thing to go ). I was just adding an observation from one who's been there.EvaXephon wrote:EvaXephon : DAMMIT, oldwrench just said exactly what I said and he didn't acknowledge me at all! I want to kill someone!
DDramone : Do it, it'll make you feel better.
EvaXephon : *Kills DDramone*
DDramone : AHHHHH!
No need to kill anyone over it.
Maybe I should adopt the lot of you and we could watch anime, happily ever after. No one needs to die--Vash

My mom's pretty cool with me watching anime. She's watched some anime with me in it's entirety (Kiko-chan's Smile, Sailormoon, Kenji's Spring, Hoshi no Koe) and she's also watched pieces of Rose of Versailles, Wedding Peach, Alien Nine, Utena, and I Wish You Were Here. Right now we're in the process of trying to watch Utena, but we're both rather busy people so it takes time for us to make a schedule and decide which days to watch anime together.
My dad... I dunno, he never has a problem with it when I visit him, but he doesn't really care about it. I think we watched a couple DBZ episodes together and some Sailor Moon S stuff, but that's about it.
My brothers and sisters are mixed. My older sister used to be a Sailormoon fanatic but now she thinks anime is crap. My oldest brother thinks that anime's a waste of time. My older brother says he'll be the end of anime but I'll occasionally see him on the couch watched Sailormoon or Utena with me. My half-sister likes anime like Tenchi Muyo, Sailormoon, Wedding Peach, etc. My half-brother likes DBZ. So yeah, mixed family.
A lot of my friends thinks it's cool that I watch anime, but some are like "Eh". I've even turned some of my friends into otaku ^_^ I just slip them a few Utena DVDs and they're like "Hm, this is interesting."

I feel two emotions at once, rather strange.EvaXephon wrote:If I didn't hold )v(ajin Koji in high regards due to his videos, I would be drowning him in a toiler right now.
Thank you about my AMVs and also, the insult was not directed at you personally, moreso at the thread itself.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.
