I'll have to check Ninku out then.

I honestly didn't like that 1/2 hour "movie". There was only one little scene with Kurama and Hiei, and the plot-line was really dull. However, Poltergeist Report wasn't as bad. It was actually it was the first time I watched YYH. (besides 1/2 a poor-quality fansub of ep 56) I believe the dub on that movie had different voice actors than in the tv series, but I'm not sure - I've only watched the original.

It's like a mini-episode. I got mine on a two-sided dvd with the anime movie 'Ninku.' I don't know if they sell it by itself, but it's not much like a movie so much as a short episode that doesn't really fit into the anime (or could fit anywhere in the anime - it's a blurb). There are about 3 minutes in the 'movie' that are worth watching - Kurama's entrance. ;p

/and yes, the dubs are different and much much worse

Dito: Half Hour Movie?

Anyway I like the show for its originality.

Anti-heros and no climatic speeches just 'Hey...I am gonna kick your ass'

If you have seen episode 1 then the spoiler is okay to view.

Starts with a bang and develops a wonderful variety of characters.

One of those shows I was convinced would be lame, but became one of my faves....

Heh, well, Hiei does have a little 'smiling' scene later on, but it only lasts for 1.7 seconds so it hardly counts. ^.~
