Let me think...

I'd say.... around... 1,000-1,500 on DVD, and about 200 on manga. I don't want to count my old tapes that all suck.

Ok, Let's do some math...

So far, I own 26 store bought, individual dvds, and at approx. $40 each = $1040.
4 fansub boxed sets at $52 each = $208
1 VHS boxet at ~ $180
2 Sailor Moon VHS movies = $15 each
55 two hour Blank VHS tapes *copies* = $20 for 10 pack
15 blank DVDs = ~$25 (on sale)
128 black CDs = $40-$50 for 100
11 Old-style manga = $25 each
25 Manga = ~ $13

Blank DVD cases = $15
Glossy Paper = $15
13 anime posters = $3 each
9 anime soundtracks = $11 each
4 plushies = $9 each
1 Ranma 1/2 clock = $30
30 + burned anime/j-pop cds = ~$17
11 anime magazines = $8 each

total = $1627 (Canadian) over the time period of about...4 - 5 years I think....

When I first got into anime, I went nuts buying DVD's and manga because I was looking for anything new to check out. Now, at least, I manage my cash a little more carefully...I plan to take it easy on the anime/manga this summer (yes, believe it or not)...but only because I plan to have a major shopping spree when I go to YasumiCon this August!!!!

I forgot...I also spent about $160 on the VHS Magic Knight Rayearth series...and $60 on the OVAs....

i've spent at least $1400 on dvds alone. i'm not even going to try to figure out anything else because my head would explode. darn those box sets that end up getting cheaper after i buy them! darn cardcaptor sakura for being so friggin long!
