What anime did you ever see first?

First anime I ever watched all of was Noir.

I saw a few eps of Cowboy Bebop and Trigun before that, but wasn't really into it. I later watched them and liked them.

But Noir was my first.

Sailor Moon was probably the first back when it was part of my "saturday morning cartoons" but I actually wasn't too interested in it.

But it was probably Princess Mononoke that got me curious...and Fushigi Yuugi and Love Hina that sucked me in.

The very first anime I saw on TV was Georgie. I was about 5/6 years old.
Probably most of you never heard about this anime before because it's old.

Lady Georgie was created in 1983 by Yumiko Igarashi.

Yeah, yeah, I know it's necroposting, but I'm new here and I'd like to get out what the frist series I watched was.

Oddly enough, the first anime I saw was Samurai Pizza Cats. However, I had no idea it was Japanese the first time I saw it. I wouldn't find out until two years later. I did notice that it was different from other cartoons, like the use of sweat drops, the large eyes, and otehr anime dipsy-doddle.

It wasn't until I saw my favorite series Sailor Moon that I found out about anime. I came across the "Japanimation" section of a laserdisc rental store one day and noticed that the artwork looked very simialr to Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon wasn't actually among them). I did some investigationa nd found out that Siaor moon was Japanese. And that's where it all started for me.
