Have you ever had that WTF feeling after watching an anime?

when I first saw FLCL. I like the show, but it was just beyond weird.

I agree both FLCL and Abenobashi were beyond weird.

I was a little disturbed when I saw the begininning of Vandread First Stage (the whole planet only inhabited by men and whole planet only inhabited by women thing). I was saying WTF until the story progressed from there. All in all Vandread became one of favorites.

and pretty much every anime that has recently been on FOX. (except for Shaman King)

After watching just one episode of all these anime left me saying "WHAT THE FUCK is this?"

I'll definitly agree with this one.

My own vote will be for Angel Sanctuary. It just ends and I didn't find out about the manga until it started getting relaesed in the states.

Surprisingly enough, Excel Saga never really gave me that WTF feeling. . .I guess Eva and FLCL are the last two frontiers that I have to conquer.

I think FLCL is pretty much a given. I loved the series, but there were so many moments where I found my jaw hanging loose for no apparent reason...very unnerving.

The ending of Eva also comes to mind...and some scenes of Weiss Kreuz where the animation got so bad I just had to stare on in horror.

The ending to Uta~Kata comes to mind with me. though i havent seen the OVA yet, episode 12's ending sucked for me.

definately the end of eva, and FLCL. esp the first time i watched them...end of eva was a serious WHAT THE MOTHER F**K!!! cause i wasted all that time watching a pointless movie that i ddint' get...>_< lol but hey ppl say its the best anime series ever...so...personally i don't like it all that much...

I must just be weird, because FLCL didn't give me one single WTF moment, but the story change in the manga did a little, the ending was more of an "AWESOME!!" moment though.

Airmaster gave me a WTF moment with the girl in purple (can't remember her name), but that was brief.

Yeah, when I watched Trigun for the first time.
