My major disapointments are Cool Devicescollection
Cool Devices is a keeper in my opinion. Sure it's dark and hentai and over the top, but that's what made it special. It's like urotsukidoji in that way.

I find it odd that so many people are disliking GitS. The first movie was a smash hit in the 90s and the SAC series are the best thing to have aired in this and last year. Granted, the second movie was pretty weak, but not THAT bad either.

the second movie was bad in the fact they re did that scene at the mansion so many times. 3 times.. uugh. OH and read the original manga.. See similarities to the ghostdubbing crime? th eone where they freed 2 little "girls" before they were dubbed in to ghost?. UUGh. it made me sick that they would butcher that story WORSE.

Kiddy Grade = Nice fanservice but BORING plot.

Metal Fighter Miku = The main characters suck ass the entire series until the end with some other stupid plot stuff thrown in ("if you love me, you'll quit wrestling!" WTF?). Plus a horrible, horrible dub... one character's voice sounded like it went through sound mixing problems.

Chobits = Nearly fell asleep the entire first disc with the porn jokes. My sister likes this series though.

Excel Saga = LAME

Ikkitousen = Lame but has decent footage.

I don't really regret any big time, but I kinda regret Initial D, ItI love it and everything, but it's very long, and I have a need to finish any anime I start. this might cost a good bit to finish...

I regret getting the Crest of the Stars boxset...so...boring -_-, at least I got it right after the price got knocked down.

And I accidently got the Macross Plus Movie instead of the OVA. I just assumed the newer movie version would of had the english dub put in too, but meh. I actually found the japanese voices to be pretty good.

I heard the name a lot when I first started watching anime years ago, and I wanted to own a classic. I had trouble sitting through it. The concept is text-book old-school sword-and-magic fantasy; a lot of elements could have been taken straight from any RPG and adapted for anime, and some things are obvious Tolkien rip-offs.
Give them some credit. That's what they were trying for, and they pulled it off well.

J-0080: What, the plot too much for you?

Anyway, I own the second and third Tenchi movies. The second was decent-ish, but the third was a waste of $15. I also have Super Milk-chan volume 1, which I got for free (semi-long story), and I still regret getting it.

No, the plot was alright, if a bit slow to unfold. The uninteresting characters inhabiting said plot, however, were another story (the crummy vocals on both language tracks didn't help either).

Excel Saga Imperfect Collection - Used $17

Watched it through once and decided that I will never be high enough to actually enjoy that show.
