What exactly IS a 'hardcore' anime fan?

I used to fansub in college (amiga toaster rulz!) in the early and mid 90s. I still don't think I've earned the title of hardcore anime fan yet though. :oops:

And I probably watched some of your stuff. I've been into Anime since the 70s. Prince Planet, Astro Boy and Star Blazers all on first runs.

In the late 80s and 90s we had an anime club (SFAC) in Buffalo NY and would import Anime LDs from Japan.... I'm the closet geek, but many of the people that I know fit the desciptions you all put down. Kinda Scarey in real life! :lol:

Hmmm i'd like so say hardcore is...
1.When you go out and buy english and japenese version dvd's so you can see what the diffrence is.
2.You get done watching your anime on tv.. then pop in a dvd of it and watch it again.
3.Your start learning japenese.(if your know another language)
4.Your diet consists of mostly Ramen noodles. Which you eat by your tv.

RAMEN ROCKS 8-) awww you caught me (except for the DVD thing, I'm poor so I hav 1 count em' 1 VHS tape sooo...damn my life sucks) but I do watch anime while eating ramen
