No, I hate the assumption that people who don't like Eva must not get it. This normally is exhibited in an all out attack on the series (hell, it's better than calling the other person names, and slightly more productive) which evolves into a debate on the series and often a discussion on free speech. Yes, I've done this WAY too many times. Since my possition is of a negative nature and since I am horribly blunt in my remarks I often come off as an asshole or a jerk, which I probably am, and in all honesty I'm perfectly alright with that. Get me outside of an arguement/debate and I am far less bloodthirsy. But, when I get involved in such discussions expect no quarter.

Hey, this looks like a job for... The Voice of Reason!
Oh, looks like the Voice isn't here, guess I'll have to do...
Everyone's going to have differing opinions about whatever may be up for discussion. Even to people that like or dislike something may do so for different reasons. This board is for discussion, so it should not be wrong to state your view of something. But damn folks, don't trounce someone else because their opinion is different. I'm not pointing fingers here, because in fact this is bigger than just this topic, it's a state of much of the forums in general. Let's just try and discuss whatever may come up like reasonable human beings, and let others keep their opinions without rubbing it in their face how wrong you think they are.
It just makes for a better place of discussion.

Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

I dont understand how some of you keep from getting bored going back and forth about who's supposed to be "right". Technically, you're all wrong since this thread wasnt started to get anyone's opinions about the series. He just wanted to know what character (if any) was your favorite. That aside, I dont know why we all feel it's necessary to prove the validity of our opinions - they're ALL valid.
You're all now free to move along and discuss something more interesting to me...
