Well, to be fair, we didn't stray very far off it. The idea was comparing Rah to EVA, which people have frequently accused of ripping it off. I've, in turn, simply pointed out (albeit indirectly) that, to be fair, even EVA's done it's share of borrowing from other sources

That said, for the sake of putting my $0.02 in
Overall, personally I'd opt for Rah on this one. If for nothing else than the fact it kind of irked me to see EVA's story kind of take a backseat near the end to the director's own personal issues.

i much didnt care for the way the series ended in the episodes of evangelion,(shinji having group theropy in his mind and having a break through) if it wasnt for the end of evangelion movie to save it. dont get me wrong, im a die hard eva fan. but as far as endings go Rah was a little better. they are both unique but so damn similar.
