Well well well, the EVA fanboy blew his cover. And btw, you have no right to dictate who 'is' and 'is not' and anime fan. And you know what? I'm not an anime fan. There, I said it, but just because I do not consider myself a fan, did change the fact that I saw eva and didn't like it, or the fact that I saw grave of the fire flies, metropolis, VHD Bloodlust, and DID like those animes. Now go crawl into a corner, sob for a few minutes, and get over the fact that someone here ACTUALLY DIDN'T LIKE EVA!

well it's kinda simple to udnerstand the concept (though it's extremly complex many times) but basicly it's an assult from god against the humans so they call these monsters angels. They come to kill and their only weapon against them is the EVA's wich were actully seen during the 2nd impact. They were remade by that genetic code and the pilots mothers were the inner soul of the EVA's taht's why only those chosen can ever pilot them. back to the point it's just a giant battle of creatures and angels. that's about it

Yeah! Eva bashing! I love Eva bashing! The only way to enjoy Eva is to NOT think, or at the most think exactly when Anno wants you to and then turn off your brain for the other 90%. Of course, the philosophy majors had fun MSTieing it, so it must have some worth. Although I will never understand how something with the personality of a blowup doll ever became a sex symbol... the audience must be sorely desperate.

For the good of anime Eva should DIE! I don't like going to an anime store where the majority of the store is taken up by Eva crap and I have to wade through piles of half naked Reis to at least find something related to Cowboy Bebop, and, if I'm lucky, Trigun. If only there wasn't so many Unit 01s on the shelves maybe I could find an Escaflowne, but it's too much to ask apparently.

Like I said. EVA is a little too complicated for some people.
