My nephews are pretty young (around ages 10-11) hardcore DBZ fans and got a kick out of Trigun when I showed it to them although their mom didn't like it when the big villian from the first ep said "asshole".

I'd say my nephews are more mature than alot of older dbz fans.

really all it boils down to is peoples opinion.....I like DBZ, but i also like other anime too. It's just that people are goin to have conflicting opinions, and it can't be helped.....Now I don't think that DBZ is the best anime ever, but i do think it's up there. The story lines aren't always goin to be appeling to some but, in my case i look at it from a directors stand point...so just don't get to over zealous with some dbz fans.....they might not like cowboy bebop, or akira, or even fist of the north star.....it's all in the persons opinion. :D

For one i don't know what nold means i assume you meant old?
And jeez i must have forgot that every anime fan in america is on this board so 90% would be a lot huh?
Oh no wait this is one little messege board my friend maybe you think the whole world is here but beleve it or not there are MANY anime websites..... come out of the fantasy and join u on earth. Anime wasn't big in america until recently and DBZ was abi part of it. Thats why it is the2nd biggest selling anime out there.

Anime was just as big in america as it is now. Have you ever been to a convention? Those toonami fans don't make up much of the crowd, it's people that have been enjoying anime for years. It doesn't have to make T.V. to be popular.

And just ebcause I flamed you in another thread doesn't mean you have to be a jack ass, I was fooling around there if you havn't read kmy post yet.
