Has anybody mentioned Magic Knight Rayearth or .hack? From what I've seen of Rayearth, it isn't that bad and the first book of .hack hasn't had much more than Shugo's perverted mind.

A deffinent on your list should be Angelic Layer. It's cute and short. o.O

Someone mentioned Gatekeepers already, and I'd have to agree. Also, I think El Hazard is pretty safe. It's been awhile since I've read it, but I don't remember anything objectionable in it.

I know there are multiple versions of the anime, but I don't know if the same applies to the manga or not. So, to avoid confusion, I read the 3-volume "Magnificent World" El-Hazard manga.[/i]

Hmmm. Didn't Makoto bump into Shela-Shela (sp?) while she was naked in the hot springs? I remember seeing that on the first El Hazard OVA.

Maybe in the OVA, but I don't remember that happening in the manga. At 3 volumes, the manga's pretty short, and the characters are too busy fighting the Bugrom and the Phantom tribe to visit any hot springs. I'll check it out though. Probably won't get back to this 'til tomorrow; it's around midnight here and I've got an 8:00 class in the morning.

escaflowne seems to be fairly harmless, just some mechafighting. Angelic Layer is perfect for los ninos (the kiddies)...it's pure sugar and cute.

Okay, I just got done skimming over the El Hazard manga, and Makoto never bumped into Shayla Shayla nude in any hot springs. The only things which might be even remotely objectionable, (if you're an uptight, humorless, right-wing, <insert other adjective here> nutjob), are as follows:

After a piece of Makoto's chemistry equipment blows up in Shayla's face, she searches his pockets, and eventually ends up groping around in his pants to make sure he doesn't have anything else that will explode. . . um, that didn't sound right

The only other things are a handful of times when Makoto accidentally finds his face buried in the chest or crotch of one of the female characters. Usually he's been thrown/hurled there, and those scenes never last for more than one frame. But there's never any actual nudity shown. Therefore, I'd say it's safe.

Heh heh o.O Escaflowne has naked Hitomi... Atleast the one that was Americanized. I was flipping through it at a store and found naked Hitomi twice.
