Transfomers: Armada (if its anime??) the first half of the series sucked but its picking up. all it was about must get minicons must get minicons. plus the dailouge was worse then that of Season 3 of DBZ. also they kinda act like the power rangers. for the person who was wondering about that Gundam series with Rain that was G Gundam. i actually liked it but i thought it had a corny ending. i hate SD Gundam with a passion. that is even worse then Transformers. oh eps 9 of Animatrix worst one on the disc.

OMG the movie. I saw the movie right after it came out. I had no idea it was based off of an anime series when I saw it. The only reason I saw it was because Van (In the movie) looked like Serge from Chrono Cross, which peaked my curiousity. The movie's storyline was so rushed, confusing, and bad that it made the film one of the worst I've ever seen despite amazing animation, an amazing soundtrack, and very cool action scenes. I was dead set AGAINST watching the escaflowne series when I found out about it later, but after I had 2 friends very strongly recommend it, I saw it and I'm very happy I did.Reiji Nosferatu wrote:Well, I haven't seen the butchered form of Escaflowne on Fox (Thank God!) All I saw was the movie.

I didn't but I heard it was terrible. The edited the hell out of it, and made every episode a short clipshow from what I heard. I know a lot of people to this day who love shows like Inuyasha (which is like a more lighthearted and more "deformed" version of Escaflowne IMO) but won't touch Escaflowne because they saw it on Fox years ago. Damn you Fox!
After I got the Escaflowne Perfect collection i was like, wow, they didn't show this on Fox, is it some kind of bonus episode. O.o

Beyblade is worse. Beyblade sucks the chrome off a trailer hitch. Mon Colle Knights is so bad it's hard to find words for it.onizuka_sensai wrote:defenatly Dragon Ball Z, that show sucked so much it was a disgrace to anime everywhere.

Dragonball Z would have been better if it wasn't nearly 300 episodes long! I remember when I first stared watching it on Cartoon Network it was cool, but then it turned into the same thing occuring over and over for weeks on end. I think that the colors made me sick after a while, especially during the planet Namek portion. As my dad once said about it "Weren't these two fighting last week?" and I reply "Yep. It's the same fight..." What a waste of celluloid. Somewhere there are starving animation studios......or maybe this explains the movement to using computers in anime. I smell conspiracy, Agent Mulder.
Soul Taker was a massive screw up. I keep thinking back to an old cartoon short about a squiggle that falls in love with a cricle, but the circle loves the line so the squiggle trys his best to become like a line and in the end gets the circle. Ya hadda be there. Those damn crazy backgrounds...they should have put a warning on the box to smoke crack and drop LSD before viewing.
It doesn't surprise me that people don't like Reign. It's hard to even call it anime since it's more like Aeon Flux than contemporary anime. Japanese directors, Peter Chung (Aeon Flux) supplying the character design, and a bunch of Korean or other Asians doing the animation.

That's true in an unfortunete way. At least some network TV stations is sort of being more careful of which series should be broadcast.DJ_Izumi wrote:It was still a step forward for the propagation of anime into the mainstream.angelx03 wrote:Escaflowne was butchered to shreds on Fox.
