I think she loved him when she was actually alive but now that she is kinda like, un-dead, she is different, not her true self.

Personally, I believe that
dead or
alive Kikyou is Kikyou. She acts essentially the same as when she was alive, striving to help those who need her. We're shown this. Her confusion and new sense of "freedom" cause her to act badly at first, but she overcomes that and sets her sight completely on Naraku.
As such, her goal is the same as Inu Yasha's, to destroy Naraku.
How do you figure it's 'like' and not 'love'?
When Inu Yasha found out about Naraku/Onigumo's feelings for Kikyou he was furious and Kikyou told him
"It'll be okay, Inuyasha. I won't let any man other than you even touch a hair on my head."
The whole scene is very touching, not like in the anime where they had Kikyou pull a knife on him. If you're only watching the anime I suppose I can see why you would say it's just "like". In the manga the lingering feelings of love between them are much more apparent.
Kikyou tells Inu Yasha that his life is hers. And later Inu Yasha tells her that her life is his. The love is still there and undoubtably always will be (you never forget your first [real] love), however there's also a profound sense of dedication and obligation involved. Inu Yasha feels guilty because she died while he lived.
At the end of the series when Naraku is finally defeated and the shikon no tama has faded from existence, I
suspect Inu Yasha and Kikyou will find closure and she will be able to rest in peace. As for Inu Yasha, he'll be able to move on with his life. Be it with Kagome or without her.
Regardless, I think it’s inaccurate to say Inu Yasha and Kikyou don’t love each other. A part of them will always love each other. That doesn’t mean Inu Yasha can’t/doesn't love Kagome. It’s possible to love more than one person in a lifetime.

If you honestly believe Kikyou never loved Inu Yasha then I seriously suggest you re-watch the anime or re-read the manga.
