anime question [are there gay anime characters?]

I know that there is a gay Anime character in InuYasha. The characters name is Jakotsu. Yes, he is gay. He also has the crush of a life time on InuYasha. Jakotsu is part of the Shichinintai [Seven-Man Group] and hes very close to the groups leader, Bankotsu, no wonder. But, Jakotsu has his eye on InuYasha. ^_~ I hope I helped a bit.

I've never seen Gravitaion, Mirage of Blaze or Yami No Matsuie. But I believe those all star gay characters.

There's lots of gay Clamp characters. The other guy from Clamp School Defenders (I'm awful at remebering Japanse names, so bare with me), Subaru and Seisero from X/1999, as many pointed out. Sohma and that girl who looks like Arashi from RG Veda, the two older guys from Lawful Drug and Maybe even Fey from Tsubasa?

-Ryofu and her lebian girlfrind from Ikkitousen.
-Fiore, Fisheeye, Sailor Uranus and Neptune, Zoacyte and Malakite from Sailor Moon.
-Karasu and that Green haired villian from Yu Yu Hakusho.
- Kamui form Flame of Recca and Neon's sister Mikki.
-That annoying guy from Groove adventure Rave who always says "Beutiful", and went Mike Tyson on Elie.
- Jubie, Kazuki and Toshiki from Getbackers. Every other guy in that series is just Ambiguos....except for Shido.
-The villian from Tokyo revalations. infact that was his whole motive for his satanic rituials. What a stupid movie.
