**Worst Dubs in Anime**

I would have tosay the lova hina dub was the worst dub ever next to excel saga. Kitusune had a country girl accent, and the other voices were soo horrible, I had to switch it over to japanese to prevent my head from exploding.

I recall watching .hack//Legend of the Twilight's English dub on Cartoon Network. It burned. The voices of Rena and Mirielle sounded like they had a freaky helium accident, and Shugo sounded just plain stupid. It was incredibly dissapointing since I'm a .hack fan.

you are very right sir, this is a thread for dubs, not animes in general. I personally liked spikes voice, but in gundam seed, I still prefer Rie Tanaka for Lacus

Yeah, I thought the dubbing in Gundam Seed was kinda crappy. And Cartoon Network loves to butcher the Gundam franchise...

Also, Geneshaft's dubs... yuck. And thankfully, I have only seen Love Hina in Japanese... thank God... \

I thought the dubbing on SEED was pretty good, except for the voices on the extras...and whoever did the voice for Cagalli. From the first episode I could tell she sucked. Sometimes when a voice actor gets more experienced with their character, they can provide better quality to that character and gain a better sense of talent. And after all this time, this voice actress in question still sucks.

but id have to say Fruits Basket they didnt do so well with some of it.. its still one of my top fav anime shows but still heh

I don't care what anyone says but so far Evangelion is the worse I came across. Come on...listen to the End of Evangelion when Shin-ji screams...what kind of acting is that(I actually heard it through this special feature thingy on the dvd, I personally have not watched it with the dubs)...I think I will stay with the Japanese language with English subtitles....they make more sense anyway...

She, the ultimate weapon (Saikano) juss wrecks the whole drama and romance at once

DBZ, sounds like Vegeta has flem stuck in his throat for life

The following anime i juss found the dub very disappointing

How bad is Ah! My Goddess? I only watched it in Japanese w/ English Subtitles....Should I stick with that?
