But that kind of humor often lacks an essential "warmth" to me; that's why, for instance, I might lean towards some of the Japanese school-comedy types of anime. It might even be an individual thing, but to me - romantic humor > social humor.
b) In absurdism, Russians are second to none. You could refer to one of my AMVs, but it uses FLCL.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
