I think it would be interesting to see Dave Barry's Big Trouble, or even D. B.'s Guide to Guys turned into anime form.

Just an interesting thought to all those who want to see Harry Potter anime. Koge Donbo (Di Gi Charat, Pita 10) does a few Potter illustrations, I'm sure if you look you'll find 'em. Also, if your hitting the cons, the hentai booths almost always have either an anime Hermoinie CD or doujin. Creepy, but there you go.

I'd like to see Brian Jacques Redwall series done as an anime. Just anime-fy the rodents into furries.
Also, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World, with a bunch of paleontological updates, would be interesting. Especially if they could do the human characters 2-D and the dino's 3-D, kinda like Steamboy (18th century british adventure)

I'd like to see The Redemption of Althalus by David Eddings made into an anime.

Some of the "Dick and Jane" stuff.

See Spot.
See Spot run.
Run Spot, run.
"Holy crap! That's a whole lotta blood spray!"

See Jane.
See Jane....get raped by a naughty tentacle?!

I'd simply throw in another vote for Dune and be off with it, but i got to thinking. How about Nabokov's Invitation to a Beheading ? That screams wtf anime.

How about something more interesting, like Wells' The Island of Dr. Moreau? If you want to get strange, some of Terry Pratchett's material perhaps.

This is asking for an anime. I mean, come on, it even has a person that resembles a cat and young women getting mystical powers and flying around naked. Along with other rather easily anime-able arrangements and humor which would not look good in live action.
I would pay a lot to see this one day. :D

How about the Black Jewels Trillogy.

Spoiler:
Witch's true form could only be done in anime, and besides she'd be just about any furry's wet dream!
