This is the Worst Dub Ever thread, and if you don't think any dubs are bad, why you postin' here?

But on another note, has any one else noticed that there are a lot of sinus problems in dubs? A lot of anime peoples sound like they have a rock shoved up their noses.

In most shows the english voice actors just plain suck. No offense to any V.O. actor out there, but I've heard better read lines squeek out of my arse.

...if an anime's original creator were to openly state their dislike for a US release (such as Miyazaki did with 'Warriors of the Wind')

that's an interesting notion, but again, it's all in someone's opinion

if the anime's creator didn't like it, that's his/her opinion...just like it's ours to decide whether or not we like something

oh, and on a note about Angel Sanctuary; I watched the anime before I read the manga (up to vol. 11 now) and I really enjoyed it, I personally thought it was really well done, but since I've started reading the manga, I've decided that they shouldn't have made the anime an OVA because there's way too many details missing and far too much of the story left to tell afterwards. they should make it an entire series...just my opinion

When I watch something, I want it to be in full english. And I don't care about that crap with Miyazaki and Carl Macek. I will support Mr. Macek 'til my dying day. Like it or not, the man's a legend.

I'm a racist why? Because I support a legend like Carl Macek? Because I actually enjoy dubs? And I'll bet that "Warriors of the Wind" isn't as bad as you guys want me to believe.
