Most emotional series i have seen...
I'd have to say Gundam 08th MS Team was the first for me. It was really shocking to see such a brutal portrayal of the gundam universe and the ending has been engraved in my mind for all eternity.
Also have to say that FMA was pretty emotional only for the fact that Hughes was my fav character...and well, we all know what happens there :(

I'd say probably Saikano. Always get depressed after watching it. :?
Spoiler :
Everyone has feelings for everyone, but it isn't known til somewhere around one or both of the people dies. The world is going to hell in a hand basket. And just when you think it can't get any worse, the world ends, leaving Shuji as the sole survivor with only his memories to comfort him.

Well this topic just rose from the ashes, lol. I'd say Chrono Crusade was the most emotional for me. That dang ending had me depressed for like a week after I saw it. :(

Has anybody said Kanon (2006) yet? It's definetly the most emotional anime I've ever seen. Only anime I've ever cried during other than Clannad. But I cried more during Kanon than Clannad
Spoiler :
I cried like a little baby at the end of the Makoto arc

Most emotional series for me are Kanon 2006, Air (TV), Millennium Actress, Eureka Seven, Cowboy Bebop, Rumbling Hearts.

The most emotional anime is Voices of a distant star directly followed by all the other anime of Shinkai >.>

Saber Marionettes has always left me an emotional mess (especially J to X). The things that happen to Otaru and the girls is beyond horrible...
Spoiler :
But at least it ends well

I once started crying a little whilst walking around town just by thinking about the edifying emotional beauty that is Kare Kano. I also get swept away by episodes 13, 24 and 26 of Princess Tutu, every single time.

And I wonder why people on the internet always guess that I'm a girl...
