I would go ahead and green light the Chobits thing. I mean it's not like a harem. and it's made by the ultimate collection of anime fangirls, clamp. And anything miyazaki is a MUST.

I honestly cannot remember if there was anything objectionable about To Heart, although the sappiness could overload the circuits.

If the age range was just a tad higher I'd say Ranma ½ or Ah! My Goddess. Even Rozen Maiden, for that matter. Or Jinki:Extend.

Some one esle recommended Ranma 1/2 as well, but from what I've heard, it's full of nudity. Others claim its not.

That's why I said 'if the age range was a tad higher' (as in, maybe 13). It doesn't have as much nudity as the manga if I remember correctly (I only have the first 5 volumes of the manga, but I've got three of the season box sets - 1, 2, & 6 - and the 2nd movie, and have watched the OVA; take that as you will, maybe there's more in the ones I've not seen).
