The only Anime that has ever made me cry was Fushigi Yuugi. Even now, just thinking about my favorite cross dresser makes my eyes water.... :(

Romeo x Juliet is my most recent bout of hysterics.

Anime tends to hit me harder than actual film for some reason. Many anime that previous posters have listed are on my list (Air, Saikano, etc.). Anime, funny or sad, tends to be driven by human emotion, so therefore has a tendency to pick at our humanity.

Also, I respect a man who can cry over an anime. (You have to be subhuman not to bawl at the end of some series/films, in my opinion).
