Cartoon Network,... WTF!!! They cant do this!!

why do any of ya'll give one good penny about Cartoon Network anyway? Who cares what they do? What censoring? the regular series, if you actually watched it, didn't have anything to censor. It's the OVAs they won't show and maybe, some of the slash scenes beginning with Saitoh through to the end of episode 61.

Ok first off you didn't read my post. 5 out of the 7 instances you named were include in my exceptions.

I see no "exceptions" noted in the original post. I see "some of the slash scenes beginning with Saitoh." I don't see anything about kids being burned, kids murdering families (although he does slash them, but I think the more severe part is that he murdered his family), guns, etc.

On a side note, I don't see how them editing out slashes *only* changes anything. So you'll have Soujirou with a sword and the next minute his whole family dead on the ground. I don't think people are stupid enough to not figure things out. Things other than slashes will be edited out. Trust me.

This si highley anoying, and makes you look like a giant jack ass. no one values your opinions because most of the time you couldn't be more wrong, and then they can't even discuss them with you, because you won't have it any other way.

Wow Jace! I wouldn't have said it so harshly, but I mostly agree. Basically you're not making an argument and just saying "this is how it is." I am <i>attempting</i> to facilitate the discussion further with retorts and inconcistencies within your argument, but you have just ignored them and said the same thing...(sigh). Oh well. No hard feelings.

alright I actually had more to say, but my computer restarted on its own, so I'm just gonna say that what you quoted from me was my exceptions. And yes I wasn't very specific about it.

And on your side note, I've seen them edit stuff like that anyway. you'll already know soujiou had a bad past trhough shishio telling you about it. I mean recent examples of them not showing it, you just kinda know is like Blade. They cut out whistler (I know I didn't spell it right) when blade found him, except one little shot where he was on the right side of the screen. You knew something happen to him, just didn't know how bad. But that seemed kinda odd since they still showed all the cheesy blood exploding scenes at the end.

For me, I don't care about CN, cause I stopped watching it. I don't like commericals, I also don't like the english voices for the kenshin series. I'm not worried about other people watching it, if it gets them into anime, isn't that a good thing? If that's what you are concerned about. They'll learn on their own.
