Kite.
Im all for telling your story visually, All of us AMV'ers do it. But something didnt hit right with me, when i saw this. First off, Its very Violent.. Yes, Violence in Anime is good.. Kite is a bit extreme.. Sexually, Violently.. If your big into Violence, I say every other 2 mins in that movie, You get someones Brains blowed out.. Balls shot off oh and several limbs being shot off.... or some variation of it. I like Character Development. I felt, though they told her story, char developement for ALL chars, extremely weak.. And her story made me uncomfortable to watch.. Im sorry Im weak. I didnt cry or anything like that, I just felt icky. hehehe. Im not about a happy ending everytime, Theres Long scenes of fighting.. blood and more blood. I rented this anime,, I cant imagine the unedited version, 40 more minutes, including a Big graphic sex scene. And alot of the past memories of Sawa and the Detective, I know why, I understand why, I dont agree nesc, I feel robbed in away, but if the edited version made me uneasy, Im sure that the undedited would kill me to watch. Its like it Starts, Killing, Heres a taste of her story, Kill.. Kill... KILL.. perverse sexual things, wrong things.. KILL KILL.. Gun gun gun.. I just personally look for more in a anime. Im not comfortable, with the dealings of pedophiles, And yes Ive seen Mahromatic,, that anime is a whole different aspect here. Kite is a Tragic Story, Deep, Dark and Painful. Up until the last scene, In the Edited Version, your like Im missing something. So dont see this anime if you cant see it Unedited. And you can tolerate alot of Pedophillic dealings, (I know its just Anime, but you need a strong mind for kite) and need violence. Watching Kite, Gave me enough violence for a lifetime. I mean no offense to Kite Fans.. And I sware they slowed the Action Scenes down to fill time, because they had to cut half of the movie. The Bathroom Shootout.. Felt like a good 20 mins.. anyone else feel this way? And then again, Not So much shitty.. Just disapointing. I walked in with no expectations, except a recommendation, that it was a good action Anime.. Yes Action, tons of it.
