Serial Experiments Lain really hit me emotionally and I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks. The last three eps of Cowboy Bebop really put me in an emotional place. Kare Kano just won't freaking STOP pulling my emotional strings, it never fails to win me over.

Saikano was definitly very emotional, It made laugh at some scenes and then made me feel sad. Same with the Kenshin OAVs, especailly Reflections.

Pita Ten ( moreso the manga than the anime)

ok im a pritty conseled guy i manly just get sad but one anime did make me cry, it was cowboy bebop at the very end (bang!)

I've seen almost everything mentioned here. In all my times I have only wanted to cry twice. Chobits, and Eva. Eva is by far the most emotional anime out there. Beserk ranks. Chobits, so many bad things happening at one time really can get to you.
