 You lie! It;s not good to lie. Jesus will very strongly dislike you  (better?)

Besides, Jesus loves spike, not vash
hmmm, i guess you don't know much about Jesus do you? In Jesus dwells no negative thing. According to the bible, Jesus had no negative thoughts tward any man whatsoever. God doesn't hate either, he just punishes.

When you think of proportionality, Spike is the better man. Vash is an actual superhuman, so of course he's gonna be able to do all the stuff that he does, its no big deal really.

Spike however is just a 100% normal human, but he accomplishes what no other normal human can do. He actually exceeds what were thought to be his limits.

Also I'm assuming the reason why people prefer Spike more than Vash is because of his character and charm. Those two traits can go a long way. Spike may fart around constantly, he may fap in public a lot, he might even eat his own shit, but if he has Cary Grant-like charm and appeal, then people will love him.

So to me its not just a Bounty Hunter vs. Bounty, but also an All Around Bad-ass vs. Goofy Protagonist and the Bad-ass wins

You realize I'm being 100% sarcastic about the Jesus statements right? :?
BTW Free religion lesson (just ignore this, you don't hang around on this forum to get lectures on faith): God doesn't punish. By sinning and chosing not to admit truthfully that you were wrong you separate yourself from God. You choose to be away from him. So you're the one who is actually choosing to go to Hell, God is not sending you there. Or at least in accordance to the Catholic Church. Never thought my Catholic Ed. would come in handy on an anime forum :? (off topic, once again ignore my rants)

Your mom has such a positive attitude :D
We're all going to hell! YAY! :D

But anyhoo, I have to agree with demented. The reason there are so many people who want Spike to win is because of his attitude.
But as I've stated before logically Vash would win, no matter how much I don't want him to

This is no battle of "which guy is better/cooler/the winner between wits" or anything like that, this is about who would win in a fight. Being the better character won't save you in battle.

As for Jesus... I don't see him going against someone like Vash, with all his love and peace. Besides, there's no doubt that even if God exists Spike doesn't give a damn. Spike lives his life without regard to things like that, so I can't see Jesus backing him.

Cowboy Bebop is better, therefore Spike wins? Hmm, terrible logic. And being more realistic doesn't really make one better, since unrealistic powers are a huge advantage.

Vash is serious enough. To think that since Vash isn't always serious he can never be serious is a lapse of reason. There are enough times that we see him being dead serious. Vash can be extremely serious if he must.

Don't get me wrong, I don't defend Vash because I like Trigun more. Spike is one of my all time favorite characters, and he's also one of, if not the single, character(s) I look up to most. He'd be easily somewhere in my top 5, where as Vash wouldn't be on my list (providing that I made one) until atleast 20 or so. And as for Bebop, well it's one of my all time favorites aswell, right up there in my "absolute favorites" category, while Trigun, as much as I like it, is a good ways removed from there, below a lot of my favorites. I defend Vash because he has the advantage and he would win, undoubtedly he would win. Spike isn't about being the uber-power that wins every fight, heck in Episode 1 (Asteroid Blues, one of my favorites) the first time we see Spike encounter an enemy, he's defeated (granted it's from a back attack, but he appeared pretty helpless to stop it) and then in Balld of Fallen Angels he's defeated, and again in Jupiter Jazz, and there are plenty of other occurances like that. That's not what Spike is about, he's a supreme fighter that wins many battles no one else would be able to, but he's not infallible or undefeatable. Vash on the other hand, he depends on his supreme power, the gun shots he makes are incredible. Plus the dodges that he makes are also incredible, even if Spike was attacking Vash in a spaceship and Vash was just running away, I think Vash would succeed.

Ah, finally, someone writing their point in a short, concise statement, which just happens to be the same as mine, and therefore right! There is no more room for argument. *Nods with knowing authority*
