Girls like that just don't know any better, IMO, so it's up to good guys like us to show them what it's like to have higher standards for dating...it's our duty as gentlemen!

Yeah. I'm currently trying to go out with this girl, we both love anime/games. She came over here last night and we watched Last Samurai. Great movie. =)

*lols* Some of you have taken that story a bit too seriously. I guess I should've said that she was being playful when she gave me that 'man-child' title. As for her lack of knowledge of anime, just pretend that you have no idea what anime is about. Your only exposure to anime is Pokemon, Dragonball, and Sailormoon on tv. You tend to not care about that stuff, especially after it has been going on for so many, many years. And after so many years of such exposure to such anime, you pretty much got a general view of what anime is about based on what you knew (which in her case, all she knew was Dragonball, Pokemon, and Sailormoon and a few Clamp based animes such a Cardcaptor Sakura). Also imagine being in the background hearing an anime with the original Japanese voices, you're gonna hear the usually female shrill, squeaky, high pitched-ass voices (Lina Inverse, Faye Valentine, Aeka), or men that sound like little kids. (eg Goku, Megaman, Shinji, Kenshin, Kurama). That's pretty much enough to wonder why a grown person would watch childish things.

As for video games, her little younger brother has Nintendo only games systems, So she was exposed to only more Pokemon, Dragonball, and Mario.

You're probably wondering why she wasn't exposed to the anime that I watch or the games that I play. Mainly because we go out and do stuff. And when we chill in the house... other things come to mind
