Fruits Basket anyone? its good!!!!

oO; No animal sexiness.... *pout* Hehe, just kid. It looks kiddish, but it's really well done. Each character is very developed, and it can get a bit intense with emotions and the like.

How the manga-ka handles emotions and characterzations reminds me a lot of Tsuda-san's work with Kare Kano.

Furuba (Fruits Basket ) it's just soo cool. I hope that the ninth volume comes out pretty soon, I'm not really sure if it came out already. (it only says it will come out in June) I have both the books and the DVD's. But I must admit, the voice overs from japanese to english are very nice. Normally the voice overs for animes are mess up.

Too bad the DVD finishes too soon. The manga shows much more of the story and I belive it's more detailed than the anime. Specially when it comes to the relationships of the characters. For the people who only have the Anime I highly recomend the Manga. I guess I'm like Hiro, cause I'm the sheep.

My brother is the snake, and that fact was actually funny. If anyone sees the AMV named "A Song For Everyone" by RubyHatchet you will know what our first impression of the Snake was. To tell the truth, my brother was bothering me for ever finding that AMV. But now he thinks Ayame is cool.

When I started watching it, I thought it would b severely girly... I was right on several accounts, but it isn't so femininly-based that guys can't enjoy it. In fact, Kyo's probably one of the more dynamic characters in Anime, and definitely more enjoyable.

Not the best romantic comedy out there (The Love Hina manga and Ranma 1/2 tie for first place in my book) but it's definitely one of the better ones out there, and absolutely one of the all-around better shows to come lately (most have been a serious let-down to the animes made from between '85 and '00.)

And yes, I'm definitely looking into this series due to all the weird things I've heard about it in a previous thread... Something about animal sex or what not...

Not childish.

Not necessarally "adult" either.

Just fun, all-around, feel-good anime.

For the longest time I had no interest in Fruits Basket only 'cause the covers of the DVDs looked boring... but one day i went to a convention with $25 in hand and decided to give it a try... and loved it... the manga is just as awesome!! The series also has quite a few adult concepts as well... it's not as childish as it seems it's only "childish" 'cause of the cutsy animals and Tohru's kindheartedness. I really hope they do a second series... cause the story only gets better...

OH MY FREAKIN GOD!!! I love Fruits Basket!!! I love Hatori so much!!! I love all of the characters but... Yuki. Grrr penguins i dont like him. He is in the way of Touru and Kyo! But i love everybody else! They need to do a second season of the anime!!
