Bad news, FMA fan. Adult Swim has delayed the new episodes.

Fullmetal Alchemist will now start airing new episodes beginning Saturday, September 17, at midnight starting with Episode 28 "Teacher" and ending it's run after several months with the series finale.

Bummer.

I was just thinking about that last night, actually. They're going to run the series up to the new episodes, but with 3 episodes a week, there was no way that they would get up to epi. 26 by the end of August. This makes a LOT more sence now. Well, looks like it's time to get TivO.

They ought to have stopped one episode earlier; that would have been a better cliffhanger, imo...

Well, yeah. The episode they ended with was pretty lame compared to the previous one. It makes it so the season sort of just fizzles out.

Fizzling = less interesting.

Yeah, the episode with all the automailers and arm-wrestling and whatnot. I just don't think filler is a very good way to end a season.
