over rated anime

Post by Gene Starwind 21122 » Fri Dec 20, 2002 9:55 pm

The most over rated anime I would have to say is Dragonball Z. It is so predictable. Myself I would like to see a second series of Outlaw Star.
No matter what, stay calm, stay cool and live life to the fullest.
Plus as Gene would say always go big in life.

Not really, eveyone's just already told everyone what happens. I mean, who knew in Japan before it was released that Goku would die fighting cell? or that Bulma and Vegeta would get married? or that Buu would kill EVERYTHING? I think it's just that its been around too long...
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Ghost in the Shell is definately over rated. Animation is fantasic and the plot has potential but God is it boring, I still like it though. Trigun was also nothing happened in the first 10 episodes again I still really liked it.

Hellsing, Noir, FLCL, Serial Experiments Lain, Trigun, Lupin III, .Hack//Sign, Cardcaptor Sakura, Blue Submarine No.6, Sorcerer Hunters, Black Heaven, City Hunter, Vampire Hunter D/VHD: Bloodlust or Prefect Blue

I'd have to agree a tiny bit with Trigun and definately with Perfect Blue I thought that it was crap really boring and i didn't care one bit for any character. I just got famous because Madonna use part of it in one of her shows because 'it's so relevant to her and her life'

Love Hina.

I thought it looked pretty interesting from all the amvs I saw of it and when I finally borrowed the first dvd, it just didn't click with me.

I'll just stick to the LH amvs.
