She was 3/4 German and 1/4 Japanese, which would explain why she has red hair and blue eyes, and she was an American citizen. I'm not sure how, was she born there? I forget.

I believe that was in the Red Cross Book somewhere so I'm pretty sure it's right. Her mother was only half German, which would explain her name Kyoko.

Chico: That was the greatest shot I've ever seen.
Britt: The worst! I was aiming at the horse.

Auska, althought born in germany, her father was american, mother japanesse or something along those lines, after she went and topped herself, asuka moved to america, and began training to be pilot of eva 02, hence the need to move eva 02 from america to japan, along with adam... wait, what the hell were the americans doing with adam........ hmm, well, thats how it is, as far as ive been informed, but then again, second hand info is rarely correct....

Except that she wasn't an American citizen... she was German...

The RCB says a lot of things that aren't necessarily true. Go re-read the sections on Rei lacking emotions, then go watch the parts of the show where she smiles, cries, blushes, etc. etc.

Actually, I think there was a Zeppelin in her name somewhere too, so you're probably right.

Adam, Unit 02, and Asuka were all coming from GERMANY, not from the United States.

speaking of america, i think it's kinda funny that the only parts of the eva series where the us was involved was when they f-ed up the eva tests and when they transfered the eva that toji pilots, and at the end when their MAGI branch combined with the other worldly branches and teamed up against Japan's NERV MAGI branch.
so it shows their
1- f-ups
2- vulnerable
3- and back-stabbers
lol, i'm just kidding, i'm not really bashing US, it's just funny to see them in that light
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

wasn't this thread dead...or close to it?

Anywho..anime has been known to show some anti american semetism in very small doses...some in larger. But not all examples are ment to make fun of anyone. Spriggan for example had a renegade devision of the Pentagon as the enemy...not like we do the same thing often in our movies with other countries.
