One reason whY i dont like DBZ in English is cause the dubbing is aboslutely and honestly horrible (well...most dubbed anime is bad at times (save a few) but DBZ is on the bottom of the list along with Pokemon)

Its an honest question: I think it looks really bad, especially their tacky use of CGI. From the Cell saga onwards, DBZ was always hot ass.

but yeah, i ALSO found some of the animation in the naruto anime to be shitty, but on the other hand, when a serious battle (or at least deadly) takes place, the quality really picks up, like naruto's fox power being unleashed for a majorly used example

yes... super low-quality dubbing, it's so bad it gives me the urge to pass gas onto the next person like a frikkin' olympic torch

don't know about nadesico, all i've seen is that trailer parody where they play 'Fly Me To The Moon' (eva theme) with Nadesico footage placed in very similar positions so that it looks like the same anime, just different looking... it was so well done it made me suspicious as to Nadesico's originality.. but i shouldn't judge an anime by it's AMVs... new quote pending...

i was hoping that whatever company snags Naruto doesn't bring it directly to t.v. if it HAS to be dubbed, then hopefully it'll be on dvd where you can switch to subtitles instead.

Naruto would be edited severely in the early parts of the series if it was ever released on Cartoon Network because of the Oiroke no Jutsu ... kids would be like ooooh ... naked gurl .... ...

Okay. I know this is a little late to comment on, but wasn't the sexy no jutsu Naruto's special or something? I know some adult ninja character commented on it at some point. Would it still be the same show if they censored it? What about the one guy that summons frogs and writes adult novels? It wouldn't be the same story if they censored it, would it?
