esca is good i think the movie is better then the show. inuyasha is also a good one but its pretty long and its still going. berserk is awsome i just got the first 3 dvds myself. love hina was ok im not really into the whole romance comedy thing. kenshin is really good but also pretty long. i hear rahxephon is good. flcl well i didnt really care for it much i mean the animation is amazing but the show is just to crazy and so much random shit happens i never took it seriosuly.Knù¢klés wrote: In no particular order -

Cowboy Bebop is a good anime in fact its one of the best but Fruits Basket is also one best of the anime I have seen.

I'd have to say that Cowboy Bebop is about the only anime series that I like all around. Close behind it come Tenchi Universe (the only Tenchi product that doesn't feel like someone trying to look like Tenchi) and FLCL (which I honestly never thought was confusing; silly, yes, but not confusing). Oh, and Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water (though I'm still working my way through that at the moment)
I like a lot of aspects of Eva, but the production values in the later episodes just get too shaky for me to enjoy them (I didn't mind how wierd the ideas were, just how cheeply they were done), the awe inspieringly confused religious/philosophical hackery didn't help much, either.
Oh, and you pretty much can't go wrong with anything Studio Ghibli does
