They're green orbo bullets. You might notice that the guns are air pistols (dart guns basically) and the withches are able to deflect most of them due to their low speed and mass. Orbo effects their powers.
(If you haven't figured out what orbo is after the first few episodes they tell you at the very end of the series).

Is the same stuff used in both the bullets and the necklace? That would make sense at least, since they both effect the witches' powers.
