Well, I wasn't replying to the first post - she (he?) said she hadn't seen enough of YYH to know about Yusuke's 'powers' so I went by that.

Regardless, Yusuke's physical strength and speed are not super powers. He gets those because of what he is -

- Yusuke's 'powers' might come from practice/etc - but his physical strength is because of what he is. Just like Spike's human body comes from being a human - that doesn't depend on super powers. It would be like saying who would win - a mouse or a cat - but not including claws or teeth - you might as well not compare the two. ^_^

...you know...looking back on Bebop, I can't help but think Spike's a little too invincible...

Sure, he takes quite a few beatings, and of course there's the finale,but outside of his eye, you never see any of them really take...the next ep, he's up and about with no scars no problems...

I would have figured between Pierrot and Vicious he should have at least had some sort of lasting scarring on him...

This bug anyone else, or am I in a minority?

I think he does have scarring, but we just never see it.

Then again, it just relates back to the laws of anime.

Spike usually ends up getting stabbed or shot or something, but you wouldn't be able to see it under his shirt or anything, so of course your not going to see many scars.
