Well, the physical body dont affect the synch ratio, but the mental capcity of the child does, and if the brain is affected by something, it could affect the synch ratio.

Here's a question. What the hell was the point of the entire conversation about how they were going to eradicate the computervirus angel?

As far as I know, they were talking about trapping it in the magi, to make it believe it achieved it's goal, and to delete itself. However, in the end, (it doesn't really maaatteeer lalalaaa) Ritsuko uses her LEET TYPING SKILLZOR LOLZ to write an antivirus program on the fly (WTF?) and deletes the angel with a stroke of the enter button... now if that isn't some eleet coding, someone may repeatedly hit me with a large blunt object.

Back to teh topic, I'm in no way a computerwiz, but I felt like that entire conversation was pointless since they took a different aproach then what they said they would do in the conversation. Plothole Majora Extremo.

I think that did that to fill in that episode. But i feel that it was a good filler because it really got the viewer up on their seats to see wat would happen next. I liked that episode, but it wasnt the best.

As for Ritsuko, she is just a computer genious, she can change her mind in a split second and still have the new idea run smoothly as the episode shows. Well thats just my two cents on that, im just stating all my opinion, thats all ... ;)

What are you talking about? Ritsuko implemented what they had planned.

Didn't Ritsuko write a program and upload it <i>to Iruel</i> via Casper, thus effecting the plan they had been talking about?

BTW, you totally missed the rationale of what they were trying to do. They weren't 'tricking it into thinking it had reached its goal'. The idea was that if Iruel's only function was perfect, unbridled adaptability, there had to be some chain of evolution in which the ideal circumstance would be self-termination. That scenario was created and implanted in Casper by Ritsuko/Maya.

That's what I remember from like two years ago anyway :|

Yeah... Pretty much all the episodes from 7 to 13 make no real logical sense... I mean, in "Dance like you want to win," what was the bloody point of waiting for the angel to heal itself? Why not immediately beat the crap out of the tattered pulp that the N2 mine left behind? And why would they want to capture an Angel in Magma Diver when they ALREADY HAVE Adam and Lillith? I mean, sheeit...

Wel it was Misatio's idea for the capture of the Angel in "Magma diver" and at the time she didn't know that Nerv already has Lilith or Adam. So it is very reasonable for Misatio to make hat command.

Also, you cant defeat an Angel with N2 mines, it never works. And I think it was just an episode to waste time on. But If you look up the name of the Angel in that episode, it means, music.
