**What anime did you start out on?**

oddly enough saliormoon? Woke up early one morning and there she was, I think it was on channel 13. I was 7 and I remember thinking to myself, what the hell is this! She's hot! Then Akira, after that I was never the same.

I remember that. Shoot, now I'm clueless as to what my first anime was.

I'll just stick with Cybersix or Samurai Pizza Cats, and soon after, Sailor Moon. May have seen other stuff before, but merely have forgotten the names. (could be thundercats, voltron, etc.., all I know is I was into anime before Pokemon and the Dragonball Shows came out, even if I am in that generation. (now 16 years old)

Star Blazers, back when it first aired on syndicated television in '79 (I was seven at the time).

But it wasn't until nearly twenty years later that anime REALLY grabbed a hold on me, mostly on VHS rentals from a local video store (Macross Plus, Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, etc.).

Oh i just remembered and absolutly none of my freinds remember this anime but its samurai pizza cats i loved that show!! but everyone thinks it doesnt exist!!!

Hello? I've met at least five people in Alabama who loved it (If you include me, 6), but then again, the only reason I know about it is beacuse I used to live in North Bay, Ontario. Everyone else I know has never even heard of it.

the movie my neighbor totoro was the first anime movie i ever saw. the first anime series would have to be.....from what i remember, sailor moon.
