As long as you don't know about project paperclip, the children's crusade, or the history of the surfs, i can make something you wouldn't recognize as history. anyone can. history doesn't stop with Hitler.

But really, the is even a whole GENRE of anime specifically for history!!! Why can't we use history as a basis?

yes and i'm reading the manga, let's get back on topic.

Another Idea:
A bunch of friends were going to go out for a movie, but one stays at home sick. the rest of them goes and, in an attack, become vampires or some demon of the night. They come back into contact, and after a bit of an argument, decide to stay friends. now the one still living friend is stuck telling the parents about it, while keeping contact with his changing friends, and also trying to be on good terms with his friends' new Vampire Lord.
goth comedy i guess.
