I love all animé music in general, but I love the themes from Inuyasha(except for Change the World, Heard it too many damn times), Witch Hunter Robin(also like the little '120 years after the covenant sank into darkness" thing), and gundam seed/wing(although i'm starting to get bored with th Wing ones, I've listened to them too much too). The songs from .HACK/sign aren't too shabby either. Here's a good online radio station that plays anime/cartoon songs a lot.

"When something is inflexible, it is bound to break. No matter how strong it seems, it is doomed to crumble. Just as the peaceful river becomes the raging waterfall, so life constantly changes. There is a yin and a yang. This world, and the next world. The tranquil life does not offer happiness...for death waits at its end."-Vol.1 of King of Hell

I haven't seen many animes, but here's the ones I like from those I have, in no particular order:
Opening:
'Ghost in the Shell: SAC' - Only seen one episode so far, but beautiful opening.
'Hellsing' - Having watched Fluxmeister's 'Eternal Damnation' before having seen the series, I was expecting a 'rock' theme. This...isn't a rock theme. It's actually rather indie and rather cool. A bizzare contrast between the music and the video (I saw it and thought "I think I'm going to like this show").
'Read or Die' (OVA) - The first Anime I ever watched, (some months ago, and even then I only saw the second half of the series). The OP plays like some spoof of a seventies detective show, or something of the sort. I was amused and intrigued.
Closing:
'Noir' - Far more tranquil and sedate then the not-so-good opening sequence.
'Hellsing' - Random indie-ish music. Unexpected, not great, but strangely understated considering the violence of the series.

Even if Noir is my most favorite anime - "Kirei na Kanjou" is boring. Especially the vocals don't reflect the beauty of the lyrics. Compare it with the vocal part of "Secret Game" - which expresses the same emotions but is sung by Yuriko Kaida with her captivating voice - and you'll understand what I mean.Astria wrote:Closing:

Most impressive ending - I don't even remember the most endings. Probably I don't notice them much because the show is over when it's played? So this one must be impressive, since it's years ago that I'd watched the show:
The ending of "Queen Millenia" (the series, not the movie)
The OP is easy to say:
The German OP of "Captain Future". It has some resemblence with the titel theme of the original "Startrek" series.

I love the opening to Rurouni Kenshin in the japanese version(for those that don't know, it's the same as the english version song but in japanese). My favorite intro is the second intro to Naruto. I love japanese rock!!! My favorite ending is probably the ending to InuYasha, followed closely by the fourth ending of Naruto (the rap/rock). Sweetness.
