Dubs - actually bad, or just unfairly biased against?

Precisely. And for those of us who can't afford DVDs, we depend of dubbing for an anime fix. (Gosh, that makes it sound like a drug. :shock: ) You can't really expect TV stations to play subs. (Think about for a little while.)
