if we're originally going by how it was made, the manga "Dragonball" was all of DB anime and all of DBZ. Heh, so technically they could be described as one whole thing.

I didn't know that about the manga.. I have never read it before. I'm just talking about the tv series is all. I never hear anyone bragging about how good the DBZ story is.. the story is so bland it's hard to brag about. The thing that got me into Naruto in the first place was the story, with DBZ it was the action.

In comparison without a doubt, Naruto is waay more entertaining than DBZ without the fighting. There's a lot of one liners you'd find in sigs and inspiring quotes. I think I remember you saying you have watched very little of Naruto, so you are basing your facts on assumptions. I have watched all of Naruto and DBZ so I think that gives me a little more merit than you.

Moving on, as for me, DBZ was at a good start when Goku came down in his luxury capsule, and you get that giddie feeling he's gonna kick some Ginyu ass, and one positive thing i can say about DBZ is that it had some decent movies.

I don't know where you got the idea I was even defending DBZ...yeah I watched it and basically know everything about it, but it's hardly one of my favorite animes. Though, I would rather take it...hell I would rather take Hamtaro than Naruto. It was the 'tards that made me hate that series and I never want to watch/read/talk about it, at all. Ever. Still, you must have made the common mistake of saying "Castor Troy" and processing it as "Dragonball Z". Yes, it happens, he loves DBZ...but he is NOT the series. Just wanted to clear that up.

Probably not. But it works both ways, so it's not a problem, right? Go onto any CCS forum and you'll find half the people there never saw so much as a hint of the Touya/Yukito pairing in the canon. They're just good friends. Those same fans are doing the same thing with Tsubasa right now. I hear that and wonder, did you watch the same anime I did? The answer is no. So when you tell me there's no 3x4 in Gundam Wing, I have to sit back and wonder how two people can watch the same episode - one of them being hit over the head with the almost embarrassing gayness between the two guys - and the other one nodding and thinking what good example of platonic male bonding this displays. At least with Clamp you know the writers are putting the hints there on purpose. With the shounen series you never know if they're putting it in to freak out the regulars, or to get sqees from the closet yaoi fans. Heck, even Naruto's flashing us naked yaoi scenes these days.

It's a blanket assumption. If you're a guy, you hate yaoi. If you're a girl, you either love yaoi and bash all female characters who ruin the potential fanpairing, or you hate yaoi and bash the fans who ruin your favorite canon pairing. If you admit to liking some yaoi, you must love it all. None of that's true, but it doesn't stop the generalizations. I'm sure there are some sane InuKag fans out there somewhere, no matter how I like to generalize them all as rabid self-insertionists. ;p

I was going to mention you saying that before.. hehe.. it sounds like you've barely watched any of it all.. or maybe you watched absolutely non. With your feelings of Naruto, I felt that way towards DBZ at one point, but by then I've already watched all of it.. and now that just makes it hard to go back to because it reminds me of those retards.

With Naruto, it didn't seem like I was just running into one type of person all the time. I meet people of all sorts that like Naruto, and it's rare for me to run into someone in real life that likes it that sucks.. so that's a plus. It's funny how people go nuts about it and falling in love with characters and such.. but that kind of stuff doesn't turn me off with fanbase.. it's the personality outside of the joy of DBZ that is disgusting. So maybe the way they act towards the series to you turns you off for naruto(excluding the little kids you find everywhere that like the show that keep popping up which is where your probably putting your emphasis.) and for me it's the way people act outside of liking dbz that turns me off.

I don't like deathnote why?

I just don't like the plot where there are existing deathgods (correct me if im wrong) who has power to drop deathnotes to the world and someone randomly
picks it up. The setting for this should be in total chaos but it reached 20th century already and no one has a clue of it ever existing well not until light and the other girl got a hold of it then the chaos started.

Also after the release of deathnote, everybody here acts like L just think seeing many L's in one area . Mostly if theres a cosplay here wow its already like a school uniform its cheap and easy to copy ^_^.
