Your Favorite anime Series?

by "tenchi" i ment all tenchi such as tenchi muyo, tenchi universe, tenchi GXP etc., but i have been watching .hack//sign in japanese cause my friend has the jap dvds. it's ok

My favorites would have to be FLCL, Evangelion, Trigun, and i think Kare Kano is pretty good too.

But FLCL is the first anime that i sat and watched the whole thing ... and it was the first anime to make me say "WTF just happened?" (i watched it berfore evangelon). Evangelion is just somethign i'm still trying to bend my mind around, i'll problaby ahve to watch the series a dozen mroe tiems and go over my philosophy notes to start understanding it. When i watched trigun, we had jsut finished the Morality & Ethics unit in my philosophy class, so after i got into the middle of the series and it took a complete U-Trun, i was able to get a lot out of it with Vash's little moral dillema and all. As for kare kano, i'm not sure, i'm stillw atchign it, so i cna't really judge it too fairly at this point ... but i think it's interesting.

Gosh! I can't believe no-one has mention SuperBook yet. It think it is the best anime of all time because it has so much awesome action, an intriguing plot, and a really cool robot. If you've never heard of it, check it out. http://www.cbnindia.org/sbk.php

I think that does it. As you can see I can't just pick one anime that I like since all of them have something that I love. And the ones I dislike, I really hate for one reason or another.

My god, you like Love Hina and you dislike RahXephon. RahXephon is the best looking, most artistic, coolest action, most intriguing drama I've ever seen(anime that is). Well, Macross Zero does look a bit better of course. I dare say the story is better than Eva(not so much pointless/meaningless angst). Love Hina, on the other hand, gives me no reason to like it. It's the idiot appeal-to-pre-adolescents sitcom of anime. "when will the main male character fall on the main female character, accidentally cop a feel, and get beat up??? My loins quiver with anticipation." I hate to be an ass, but I gotta tell ya that's messed up. I've noticed alot of people in this forum like Love Hina. Watching that show fills me with so much hate. Please tell me what you like about it.

I fail to see how fanservice = good anime series. Really, if the occasional panty/cleavage shot is enough to make you declare Love Hina THE BEST ANIME EVAR, I'd say your priorities are a little skewed. I'd suggest you stop watching anime and start looking for free porn or something then, because Lord knows that's what 98% of the internet is.

Believe it or not the fan-service comment above was a joke, dont take it so seriously. As far as why I like it over RahXephon, RahXephon is just another giant creature anime where as Love Hina is creative, I only see RahXephon as another Evangelion. If you have your preferences then fine but me personally I like originality and comedy of drama. You can only put the earth in danger so many times.
