The only thing I wouldnt give up would be cocaine
Anime is a lonely hobby.
the evidence lies in how much argument to the contrary has been supplied.
If I hadnt transferred and moved to a house in the woods w/ no means of transportation, I would currently be enjoying much more productive and realistic things.
My seclusion and subsequent lack of casual contact has created a lack of something. To compensate, anime provides some degree of culture.
It is a very lonely and melancholy situation.

If a girl is so self centered that she demands you quit your hobbies to cater to her tastes, she doesn't deserve to be your girlfriend. The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:If you're not willing to give up some things for your girlfriend, you aren't ready to be dating at all.hasteroth wrote:Though I wouldn't date a girl who wants me to stop watching anime.

Speaking as a person married for 23 years (which is in itself significant).
YOU must be able to evolve in a relationship. SHE must be able to evolve in a relationship.
But if you get flat out statements of conditions, that's a good indication the person is more into their needs than yours.
You can ask for concessions, but only ask. The second it's a demand, I'd say a good reply is, guess what, this is a door, it's good for many things, including keeping out people that are not wanted.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

if its not natural, then whats the point right?
you're partners in crime, not negotiators
everyone ought to chill out

Interesting.
Most of my friends seem to like anime but they're not as into as I am. One of my friends... Frankie-Chan is downloading anime from the same website and we'll shit and talk about what series we like the most. Goodtimes!
If you are lonly try finding more people with the same interests as you. This might mean you'll have to do some working finding them, but someone might be having the same problem as you right now. They just don't know where to go.

of course no.. because through the different stories in anime.. we can relate our lives to it and have fun. some anime really reflects people and they give life to us. just watching is not being lonely but being cool.
