That's why I'm moving out of this country when I can afford it. I'm thinking Japan or France.MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote:Its kinda sad . . . I still stand by my statement anime isn't meant for american television. Our censors suck to much. They cant show too much because they fear losing sponsors and getting complaints so they butcher the anime.

I don't think you've read the entire thread since numerous people have mentioned scenes necessary for the story that will be edited out. I think that's what the point of this thread was. Along your lines of wanting the story intact, these edits would take important parts out (IMHO).You miss cussing, the occasional semi-contraversial statement and any sex scenes. THE STORY IS STILL THERE!!! Someone should find any of you that wussed and wined and cock slap your face.

Kracus, can you not read? at all?
when I mentioned religion, and part of my vocab, i ment I say those words regularly. I was never cussinf AT you. Every curse word i used was in the form of an adjective. I never used a curse word by itself.
And why would some one just regularly say these bad things? Perhaps because I have no motivation not to, and I could care less. That's what I was tlaking about religion, these words mean nothing to me, and I say them ona regular basis. you can't read for shit my friend.
I know this stuff may be "in-between" the lines, but it's not college level reading, it's not hard to see. This type of stuff that I just had to explain is child's play. I'm sure everyone else understood the first time.
Again, just incase you DIDN'T catch it, I DIDN'T cuss you out, once, EVER. All adjectives my friend, not one of thsoe words were directed at you.

hmm, i never got that e-mail and never read any of that stuff before.
Anyways, I was tlaking about the illegal imigrents. I have plenty of smart mexican friends.
I have never seen any illegal immigrents in texas do mroe than mow lawns. ow ever, mexican cultured AMERICANS, are plenty successfull. Tho mexican cultured, they're still american. I see all american's as equal, and I have nothing against the mexicans in mexico either. It's just that if they're going tot ake the time and effort to cross the boarder illegally, why not make something mroe of their lives than lawn mowing?
I know mexicans in California that crossed illegaly, they got their papers signed, they went to school, and they have good jobs and degrees. the only mexicans i know with this type of success in texas were raised in the U.S., they didn't cross on their own.
BTW, i already talked with MJ and a whole bunch of others on the matter. They understand what I'm talking about. I was never insulting EVERY mexican in the state of texas, only the illegal ones. And if you know a successfull illegal imigrent in Texas, good for you, I don't.
And all those people saying theyre going to make more money. Wo ever said 500,000 in a year, I could make that ina day if i'm a succsessfull enough surfer. People shouldn't go around saying how much richer they are than some one else when they don't know. Besides, i plan to make my own label, much like volcom. I'm going to have my own board shop, sign bands, and sponsor agressive sports. So I don't see myself being poor. i'm going to college at SDSU for all the approporiate degrees.
And for the one erpsont hat said I'm in texas of my own free will, that's funny, but no.
Anyways, I apologize for the mixed message. I'm not racist and hold nothing bad against mexicans. it's just that I've never once seen a succsessfull illegal imigrents in Texas, and I've seen a lot of illegal mexican immigrents there. that would only lead me to believe noe of them are all that successfull. Where as in Ca I've seen plenty of illegal immigrents make thigns of themselves.

Ahhh... so many people arguing.
*!!WARNING!!* Politically incorrect statement follows!
Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
I've often thought that way about forums where people are like, "You're a F(edit) moron for thinking that!" "Yeah, well you're just a jack a(edit) for thinking I'M wrong." Who cares? The way I see it, forums are great for expressing opinions, for the purpose of comparing and contrasting. Appreciate people for there differences and maybe even learn to try and see things from their perspective. Forums aren't a good place for close-minded people... alright time to step off the old soap-box now.
I wasn't too turned on to the fact that CN would be showing, and therefore editing, Rurouni Kenshin. I was like, tch.. I'll just go buy it. Then I got some wierd looks and found out that Kenshin is over 26 DVD's long in volume... So now the thought isn't all so bad... I can stand a bit of editing. I mean, come on, if I like it that much I'll just... you know... save up and buy it.
Or purchase some bootlegs.... *Jiima did NOT say this. This message will self destruct*
