Worst anime = G Gundam.

Not all of Gundam, just this G series I've been seeing lately. It's terrible. It yet another "Lets all fight in an arena!" anime. I much prefered the war oriented gundam series. They had much more depth and a storyline I actually enjoyed. This show is as about as entertaining as watching Power Rangers.

Metropolis was a good movie, for what it was. It was the anime adaptation of a great classic film,Metropolis. The story is basically the same, minus the Ziggurat, and replace robots with poor people.

The backgrounds where amazing, and I'll be the first to admit that the character designs were flawed here and there, but the idea was great. The plot is slow moving, and it drags in areas; however, the overall effect is not quite lost.

I think you guys should atleast check it out if for nothing else than the idea behind it. I personally enjoyed it and wish to pick up a copy of it next time I get paid.

I can't think of any crapy animes right now, simply because I haven't really watched that many.

i'd have to say Grappler Baki, god that was an awful anime. and by my brothers accounts he says he'd shoot himself in the face if he ever watched ping pong club again. and there was some anime that i saw on the scifi channel back when they normally showed anime, called Z dou something or other, i can't remember what exactly it was called but it was horrible. oh hell let's add pokemon, yugioh, and all this anime they're currently showing on fox for saturdays. except ultimate muscle. i know it's gay too but for some reason i don't mind watching it. anyways i'm sure i'll think of more later. Sayonara.

I saw Grappler Baki in my Best Buy. I almost bought it because it looked so cheesy and bad that I knew I could mock it for weeks.

I may still go get it...

Mr Oni
AMEN....
Why do you hate those 2? Most people would agree with me when I say they're pretty great.
The worst I've ever seen is SuperBook though i don't dislike it the most. It's fun to watch something so awful. Hardly anyone knows about it.

My Avatar is from SuperBook.
My least favorite is Love Hina. I wouldn't hate it so much if it weren't for the fact that so many people like it. It's raw freakin sewage in my book.

BTW- I also used that as my favorite in the favorite anime thread. I was kidding of course

Raw sewage is better left for Eva. I cannot respect an anime that has a kickass story going on and then ruins it with the worst ending ever. And all the endings for it are just stupid pshycobabble.

Lamest series I think? "Searching For The Full Moon" (in fansub right now). It's about a girl with a year to live, a dream of becoming a singer,a bitch grandmother who hates music (related to the girl's parents), and a bunny girl (who is hot) and hipster cat boy team working for the Angel of Death, who inadvertently help her on her way to J-Idol stardom.

It's rather boring, the girl sounds too old for her age, and it's got some sappy aspects to it.

The good parts:

The hot bunny girl. And if you're like Mroni, the 12 year old main character who turns into a 16 year old.
I'm out...

Oh boy, you're lucky you aren't saying that on a website with mroe real otaku's on it, like animenation.com, because if you were you'd be lynched, beheaded, and deep fried for that.
You mean like what you said about metropolis.
No. Because a lot of people agree with me about Metropolis. On the other hand, you're just about the only person I've ever seen badmouth FLCL.
alot of peopel are stupid, and their opinions shoudl thusly be disregarded, you probably hated it because it didn't have any of the following

A. Pointless filler
B. Mindless violence/gore
C. Fanservice/Nudity
D. Refrences to ancient texts
E. Bad Bad Bad anoying pissy characters.

And Lets not forget hte version you downloaded was a crappy fansub with pisspoor translations, if you went and picked up the DVD or watched for it on TV it would definetly improve the quality of the movie.

Just to get things straight... The Magic Roundabout is a french show that was dubbed in the UK. Saying it's british is like saying pokemon is American.
