Speaking of security flaws since you know so much about them, WinMX has an infinite more security flaws, spyware and spam than KazaaLite. Infinite in that KazaaLite has 0 and WinMX has them (any math genius can figure out where infinity came from).

I strongly suggest uninstalling WinMX unless you like companies taking your bandwidth, resources and selling information about you to companies. Then again, maybe you like that sort of thing.

pls refer to teh WAy off topic > Definition of lamer, You dont know what ur talkin about, winmx repsects privacy of all who use it, i've never had worms sent to me through it, unlike kazaa, kazaa lite on the other hand is better but still dont respect your privacy, if you think winmx has spyware, well maybe they changed it since i dled it, i got the old version where there isnt any than i think its like 3.1, do ur research before u speak...

Kazaa's disclaimer states along the lines of
Your extra HD space belongs to the kazaa network as long as you have kazaa installed
Your privacy information will be distributed to umbrella companies and associates
Extra bandwidth, CPU cycles and RAM usage that aren't in use will be used by kazaa for internal purposes, read the disclaimer before u open ur mouth,

even if u uninstall kazaa u know how much pure shit it leaves behind on ur HD? ... tons and im not talkin about the files you download the stuff u dont know about, morpheus has spyware, not sure to what extent, ... thats all i have to say on this

i used spybot - search and destroy, i probalby still ahve tons of adware on my cpu, but thats tons less then before...

I'm still on Kazaa Lite version 1. something...
Well for my own reasons...

I run adaware every once in a while and don't get any spyware events.
A nice and clean system! 8)
