Coolest damn series this side of nothing I can think of this early in the morning. A GAiNAX title, 6 eps on length. 2 DVDs, at 2 eps / disc have been released in the US.
Cool rock / action / comedy thingy, worth looking into.

Well, the name of the series is technically 'Fooly Cooly' (or that's what we believe that the director / creator intended the name to be). Both the Japanese approximation to this ('Furi Kuri') and the letters FLCL appeared on the original product. The US version uses both FLCL and 'Fooly Cooly' when referring to itself.

well FLCL is kinda loosely defined at the end ... but really no one really knows what it actualy means ... Naotas grandfather describes it as "breast fondeling/nipple tweaking" ... Naota's dad kinda loosely refers to it as a lewd relationship ... Maimi just says that when those horns start coming out of Naotas head ... Haruko kinda passes it off as a medical condition, but thats more of a joke. But really you should get your hands on that series, its very good.

As far as my memory serves, 'furi kuri' is to knead, similar (apparently) to a breastfondling motion. It's just one of the many, many play-on-words that FLCL has.

yea i saw those, but i still like them using those broad sword/lances that they had in the movie rather then these new weapons, though they do look interesting. So you picked up hellsing? the first dvd or the box set? i want that too ... i have a list thats way too big ... but i ahve seen the hellsing action figures ... and they aren't much to brag about, i particularly dislike alucards face ... although i do like his hair when it's medium length like that...
although victoria dosn't look all that much better ... but still she's victoria ... (Victoria = Hawt)
