Inuyasha is shounen. Without DB it wouldn't be here. Basically any anime wouldn't be here... if it has action/comedy/adventure, anyway.

Still watching Sonic X, but dubious that it will get better. And... I think that's it.

It rocks. Episode 26 was just.. Mm.... and 27 was great

Chaos appearing and Super Sonic fighting... Mmm.. love the new opening too.

Doesn't matter if you disagree, it's all true. Maybe it would help if you explained why you don't like Dragonball. Dragonball is a great lighthearted adventure of Son Goku growing up with likeable characters, hilarious comedy, and great action.

How well do they stack up to a typical episode of SatAM?

Anything surpasses that junk. It was such a horrid and inaccurate display of Sonic. Eggman had the stupid plans of turning people to robots and they made up stupid and useless characters.. plus they made Tails useless, and he's one of the heroes. Plus no Knuckles or Amy.
