You're all complaining too much about the name changes. Just because it shows up on a piece of concept art doesn't mean it's canon for the entire movie. That includes both the names *and* the designs.

While you may all look at this concept art and start bitching, I actually <i>watched</i> the interview with the head designers from Weta Workshop regarding the movie, and you know what? They seem to actually give a shit. I mean, they're actually considering the <i>ramifications</i> of having giant robots defend a city down to the detail of stuff like who cleans up the spent shells from the Eva guns.

Ultimately, what it comes down to is the script. And while it exists (this was confirmed at ADV's industry panel at Otakon), it certainly hasn't leaked yet. When it does, we'll get to see how badly they've chopped up the plot and characters and names and whatever. But for now, everyone should shut the fuck up, look at the cool designs, and hold their bitching until they have something more tangible to bitch about.

her annoying little voice can't play Asuka, no matter how annoying Asuka is, she's not ditsy, i doubt the duff girl can pull it off

ughhh...no more hilary duff!! I was froced to watch that lizzie mqguire movie cause some friends wanted to make fun of it and we couldn't really cause we just felt dumber as we watched it.
